Software License Agreement

Booth — Personal Audio Studio  ·  Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Software License Agreement ("License") governs your use of the Booth Chrome extension and its associated digital products (collectively, the "Software"). The Software is operated and licensed by GyeolCrash (Hangyeol Kim), an individual sole operator based in the Republic of Korea ("Licensor", "we", "us").

This License is part of, and incorporates by reference, the Booth Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

By installing or using the Software, you ("you", "Licensee") agree to this License. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. Proprietary Software — All Rights Reserved

The Software is proprietary and is licensed, not sold. All right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including its source code, design, presets, graphics, trademarks, and all intellectual property rights, remain the exclusive property of the Licensor and its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this License.

2. Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with this License and payment of any applicable fees, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the distributed (published) version of the Software, obtained through the official Chrome Web Store listing, for your personal or professional vocal-practice use.

Access to Pro features and one-time digital products is conditioned on a valid, active entitlement (subscription or purchase) associated with your account.

3. Source Code Is Not Licensed

This License grants rights only to use the published, distributable extension. It does not grant you any right to the Software's source code. The source code is not sold, licensed, published, or otherwise made available to you. Nothing in this License, your purchase, or your access to the published extension transfers any ownership of or license to the source code.

4. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit any third party to:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or repackage the Software, except as expressly permitted.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, branding, or license identifiers.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Software's licensing, entitlement, or extension-identity enforcement mechanisms, or use the Software without a valid entitlement where one is required.
  • Use the Software in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and Entitlements

Pro features and digital products require a valid entitlement. Entitlements are verified server-side and bound to the official extension identity. If your subscription lapses, is canceled, or your entitlement is otherwise terminated, your license to the corresponding Pro features ends, though the free features of the Software remain available under this License. Billing, renewal, and refunds are governed by the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

6. Third-Party and Open-Source Components

The Software may include third-party and open-source components that are licensed under their own terms. Those components remain governed by their respective licenses, which prevail over this License solely with respect to those components. A list of such components and their license notices is provided in the Software's third-party notices (see boothapp.app/third-party-notices or the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file included with the distribution).

7. Updates

The Licensor may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. This License applies to all such updates unless they are accompanied by a separate license, in which case that license governs. The Licensor is not obligated to provide updates or to maintain support for any prior version.

8. Termination

This License is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms, including the restrictions in Section 4. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software. Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Software or this License. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

This License is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and is subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your place of residence.
